Pit-a Pat (두근두근) features five unique variations of interactive, sculptural artist’s books. Each conveys its message through onomatopoeia, mimetic words, Braille, and paper embossing. Moving beyond the act of turning pages, the works unfold and transform, inviting physical engagement and multi-sensory exploration. Using a variety of papers with distinct textures and material qualities, the series creates immersive, three-dimensional moments. The title “Heart-pounding pit-a-pat” evokes the pulse of anticipation and tactile discovery at the core of these works.
